Starting her journey behind the Iron Curtain in Romania, tracking Spider monkeys in Tikal, following the Green March in Morocco, working on Ascension Island in the South Atlantic, riding horses in Umbria, training teachers in Borneo, to living under strict Sharia law in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan, Jo takes us with her on inner and outward explorations in exotic locations.
